Uniquely You, Uniquely Them, Uniquely a TCK

TCK's (Third Culture Kids) lead a challenging, but unique life. Many people try to understand what it’s like to be one, but only TCK's themselves can fully understand and explain it. TCK's are special, they’re different, they’re unique, but they’re life isn’t as easy as you think. I am one myself, and I have lived in three very different countries, Singapore, Vietnam, and America. So here’s what a TCK is, what a TCK’s life is like, and my brief background on being a TCK.

Sometimes we try to take short-cuts in our language learning. Ironically, the short-cut I tried to take in regards to LISTENING throughout my first stay in Vietnam turned out to be the long way - and the wrong way! I'm looking to remedy that with new approaches to language learning as I ready myself for a return to Hanoi.
